AN ANTIQUE NATURAL AND PEARL LAVALIER NECKLACE, CIRCA 1910 in 18ct white gold, the chain connected by a diamond set connector, suspending two graduated drops set with old cut diamonds, terminated respectively by a natural pearl of 7.8mm and an old cut diamond of 0.81 carats, unmarked, chain 40.0cm / 15.75", longer drop 4.0cm / 1.5", 8.4g. Accompanied by a gemological report stating the pearl is natural and of saltwater origin.

An African witch doctor's necklace, with nineteen hawks' claws of varying sizes and charmed wooden blocks, attached to a chain, the original cord on which they were threaded was broken many years ago , one of the blocks has a silver collar inscribed 'Maritzburg 1882', the necklace also has an old label with 'S.P.G. Travelling Exhibition N.2., brought back by the Rev. Meriwether in 1882', together with an antique Philippines Ifugao necklace , with six mother-of-pearl panels on a woven rattan band, each approximately 6 x 7cm (2)
