Ceramica prodotta a stampo con pittura policroma sopracoperta. Il leone dal corpo in verde smeraldo presenta una rottura restaurata del portaincenso; mentre quello dal corpo in verde mela presenta una rottura restaurata della testa e della parte superiore del portaincenso. Piccola crepa alla base. Altezza 23,3 cm I leoni buddhisti, detti anche "cani di Fo", appaiono spesso in coppia: il maschio con una sfera o una perla sotto la zampa, a simboleggiare la forza e la potenza dell'impero cinese.
