A 19th Century Victorian antique ebonised mourning tea caddy of sarcophagus form. The outer case having inlaid mother of pearl foliate decoration and escutcheon, with ebony hoop swing handles to the sides. The hinged cover having a domed top opening to reveal a fitted interior with two lidded compartments having lined interiors and mother of pearl handles. Raised on bun feet. Measures 18cm x 22cm x 13cm.
A stunning 19th Century Chinese Guangxu mark and period porcelain vase of pear shape having hand painted decoration in Wucai enamels depicting a Phoenix and Dragon chasing the flaming pearl with flames and bats. Six character reign mark to underise in Kaishu script. Measures: 31cm tall. No visible damage.
A stunning 19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty teapot of heavy bronze construction having a swing carrying handle in the form of dragons chasing the flaming pearl. The cover having similar decoration with Greek key border decoration. Thick repousse twin dragons amongst the clouds decoration raised on shaped supports with vines. Impressed character marks in Kaishu script to the base. Measures 23cm x 18.5cm x 11.5cm.
A collection of Chinese antique snuff bottles / scent bottles comprising a Qianlong mark blanc de chine example with Famille Verte green painted Foo dog handles and Greek key bands with Zhuanshu script panels, Kangxi mark bottle shaped example with hand painted scenes of figure on horse with attendant, Qianlong mark blanc de chine example with pierced body depicting dragon chasing the flaming pearl and phoenix, Tongzhi mark example with ocher medallions to body and a pair of small Meiping plum shaped vase examples with painted detailing.
