Extensive canteen of George V silver Old English pattern cutlery comprising: eight tablespoons, twelve dessert spoons, twelve soup spoons, twelve teaspoons, five egg spoons, twelve table forks, twelve dessert forks, two salt spoons, one mustard spoon, one gravy spoon, two sauce ladles, butter knife, one sugar tongs, twelve mother-of-pearl handled fruit forks, twelve mother-of-pearl handled fruit knives, twelve bone handled fish forks, eleven bone handles fish knives, pair of bone handled fish servers, twelve bone handled steel table knives, twelve bone handled steel dessert knives and a bone handled steel five piece carving set, makers John Round & Son Ltd, Sheffield 1918/1919, housed within a good mahogany canteen table, the detachable upper section fitted a hinged cover, two drawers and brass carrying handles, the table base fitted one drawer, two side slides and standing on tapered moulded spade supports united by stretchers, 61cm wide Condition: Cutlery is used but generally in good order, some wear to tines of forks and minor discolouration to knife handles, the table/cabinet again is generally good although there is some minor scratching and scuffs commensurate with it being used and of its age - **General condition consistent with age
