A sapphire and diamond square cluster ring, circa 1920 The baguette cut sapphire to a border of milgrain set old cut diamonds, knife shoulders and plain band. Band stamped platinum 18ct. Together with a 9ct gold diamond set ring, the star set old cut diamond inset within rose gold tapering band, and a split pearl five stone set ring (3).
A split pearl set pendant necklace, early 20th Century The pendant centrally set with a swallow to foliate split pearl set detail either side, to rope twist chain and barrel clasp. Width of pendant section approx 4.5cm, 7.2gms. CONDITION REPORT: Good overall condition, there is a loop to the rear presumably for a removable pendant/brooch which is sadly missing.
An early 20th Century diamond and split pearl set hollow hinged bangle The central oval plaque with a star set old cut diamond of approx. 0.03ct, to decorative open work scroll sides each highlighted with a single split pearl, with hinge action and push clasp, internal diameter 6cm max, 7.4gms.
A collection of Victorian mourning jewellery To include a brooch of circular form with central window revealing hairwork within a border of split pearls, to enamelled section and floral border, personal inscription to the reverse dated 1843. A jet oval pendant with central window displaying hair wire and pearl work design, with personal inscription dated 1880, to twist link chain and barrel clasp. A further Victorian brooch set with central star set seed pearl to black enamel work border. And to include a tortoise shell pique work brooch, of circular form with pique floral detail. (4)
A pair of pearl and diamond ear pendants, circa 1890-1900 Each with a central pearl, approx. 6.5cm diameter, to a border of round old cut diamonds, to twin diamond surmount and wire hook fittings, estimated total diamond weight 1.75cts (af) one cluster has become detached from surmount, in need of reattaching, please note pearls untested for origin.
Three late 19th/early 20th Century brooches To include a cameo brooch, the central oval shell cameo within a double border of split pearls to pin and hook fitting at rear, an amethyst and split pearl set target brooch, the central oval mixed cut amethyst set to a border of split pearl highlights to pin and hook reverse, indistinctly stamped 15ct to the rear. And an early 20th Century mourning brooch, set with a central cluster of banded agate, with personal inscription to rear dated 1905. (3)

The earrings each having a heart shaped citrine briolette drop from the seed pearl set crown surmount, to post and butterfly fittings, the earrings indistinctly signed 9ct, each approx. 2cm long. (2)
A fine quality gold, diamond and pearl pendant necklace, American, late 19th/early 20th Century The diamond set central pendant section with laurel and bow motifs and lattice diamond set bar work, set with three principal old round cut diamonds, to seed pearl set chain and push clasp. The three principal diamonds weighing approx. 0.32cts, 0.36cts, 0.70cts, estimated total diamond weight 2.15cts, makers mark M.St.& S, and stamped 585 to reverse, width of pendant section approx. 48mm. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition with light surface abrasions in line with gentle wear.

A gold split pearl set pendant necklace, early 20th Century The lower section being a split pearl set floral burst, with detachable fitting and with pin and hook closure, can be adapted/removed to be worn as a brooch, to a delicate flower split pearl set surmount and leaf and bar split pearl set sections. Integral belcher link chain with push clasp, stamped 15ct to the rear, removable section approx. 3cm wide, total length including removable section approx. 46cm.
An amethyst and seed pearl set 9ct gold pendant and chain, early 20th Century The pendant set with a central round cut amethyst within openwork seed pearl set border and with pear cut amethyst drop, stamped 9ct to the reverse, with an early 20th Century stamped 9ct bar and link chain, gross weight 8.7gms.
A Chinese blue ground kesi type 'Six' dragon court type robe, 20th Century The rich blue colour heavily embroidered in gilt thread depicting six-four clawed dragon in pursuit of the flaming pearl, and before ruyi fire scrolls, the robe further embroider with Buddhist symbolic emblems. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Minor fraying and loss to the gilt thread throughout, free from holes, tears, staining and rips, colours remain vibrant, overall good condition
An exquisite Japanese inlaid ivory and shibayama Shodana cabinet, Meiji Period (1868-1912) The cabinet rising from four swept cloud scroll feet, extending to a stepped rectangular base, with finely carved ornamental pierced acanthus and scrolling lotus fretwork, the main display area rising from three short drawers and two small cabinets to two beautifully carved central openwork shelves and two upper cabinets with hinged doors, enclosed within galleried fence and bridge walkway openwork, and surmounted by a pitched pagoda roof with carved sway tile designs, the exterior panelled doors delicately and skilfully carved and applied with Shibiyama and applied mother-of-pearl depicting ladies seated on a veranda, crane in flight, quail, cockerel and further foul before naturalistic landscape, finely detailed with chrysanthemum, peony and lotus blooms, 240cm high, 137cm wide, 34cm deep. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Structurally the cabinet is in good condition, however there are signs of damage indicative of age, most of the inlaid shibiyama panels remain in good order with only small losses. The most notable panels showing loss of inlay are the bird cabinet panel on the left hand side, to the upper branch area there is a large loss, approx 3cm x 2cm in size, the lower left hand side drawer, has a section missing to the upper member, panel with seated ladies, figure on right has loss to her kimono, the further panels remain in good order, however many have minor damage, (presently we have several small pieces of ivory and mother of pearl that need re-adhering to the cabinet. Small areas where panel work have been re-glued. Cabinet in good antique condition with only damage and losses comparable with the age. Due to the size and fragility of the cabinet, Wright Marshall would highly recommend that the cabinet is viewed in person as a condition report of this nature can not wholly be relied upon.
A William IV mother of pearl and pewter inlaid rosewood sewing box, together with sewing accoutrements The hinged lid enclosing a lined and fitted tray, containing numerous 19th Century carved bone sewing accessories, a mother of pearl and ivory aid memoir, a 19th century walnut nut etui, etc, box approx. 27cm wide (box and contents offered as on view - significant damage throughout).
A Chinese carved hardwood temple bell, Late Qing Dynasty (1664-1912)/Republic Period The carved hardwood frame with pediment carved in high relief depicting two dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, the carved bamboo style stretcher supporting a cast metal and studded archaic type bell with later striker, resting on twin carved shishi supports, 80cm high.
An interesting miscellanea of small collectors items To include a Victorian mother of pearl handled pocket knife with hallmarked silver blade, Sheffield 1859 (boxed), one other mother of pearl handled pocket knife, three bone handled pocket knives, two pairs of bone glove stretchers, a pair of dividers, a piano tuner, a carved bone novelty propelling pencil in the form of cricket bat, a Samson Mordan & Co propelling pencil, a propelling pencil/fountain pen, two other propelling fountain pens, two pocket snuff spoons, a bone lace hook, and other small pocket oddities.
A Japanese inlaid ivory and mother of pearl shibayama panel, late Meiji/Taisho Period Of rectangular form, inlaid with depictions of elaborately decorated bijin with coiffed hair and holding parasols, walking in fenced gardens detailed with orchids and lotus, three crane in flight above, reserved against a black lacquered panel, 91.5cm x 49cm.
