A Persian Nautilus Shell and Mother ofPearl powder flask, in the Portuguese Colonial style, possibly 17th century, the top decorated with a mother of pearl stylized lotus leaf pattern, above a band of stylized flower heads, body formed of a single abalone shell, applied metal mounts and loop handle, shell with lustre quality to surface, height 14 cm.
