A Harrods of London carving set, cased, together with a canteen of twelve mother of pearl handled fish knives and forks - The bladed product in this lot is not for sale to people under the age of 18. By bidding on this item you are declaring that you are 18 years of age or over. Please note that if you require P&P for this lot, this can only be done using an age verified method. CONDITION REPORT: Both the canteen and the carving set are complete and intact. There are no apparent losses to any of the items. They are in used condition. There is some discolouration to one or two of the blades.
A Georgian pink sapphire and river pearl set ring, in gold coloured metal setting, sapphire +/- 3 carats, size P (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: We do not have a certificate with this ring. All claws are in good condition and there are no loose stones. There is no visible damage to the sapphire and the pearls appear to be in good order also. There are no loose stones. The shank is in generally good condition with no significant wear.
Lepidopterology - Collection of Taxidermy Butterflies. Collected in the early to mid-20th century, this collection consists of eight boxes, notation with most of the butterflies and varieties include the following: Graylings (different species), Small Heath, Alpine Heath, Albino Gatekeeper, Water Ringlet, Hedge Brown, Meadow Brown, Wall Brown, Speckled Wood, Fritillary including the Lesser Spotted, Mountain and Small Pearl Fritillary, Queen of Spain, Silver Washed Fritillary, Painted Lady, White Admiral, Red Admiral, Peacock Admiral, Grayling Woodland, Essex Skipper, Grizzled Skipper, Lulworth Skipper and Dingy Skipper amongst others, together with a large aluminium collection case and collection of butterfly books.
Antique double strand pearl necklace, on an Art Deco ruby and diamond clasp. The pearls measures approx 6mm having good lustre. The 14ct gold clasp set with 10 1.5mm square-cut rubies and a single diamond of approx 38 pts, together with further old cut diamonds approx 30 pts, weight of clasp 4.5 gms.
