Pair late 19th century pearl and diamond earrings, each with a button-shaped pearl measuring approximately 7.5mm x 8.5mm, each surrounded by fourteen rose cut diamonds in gold collet setting, in fitted box retailed by Heinrich Mau, Dresden CONDITION REPORT Provenance: The earrings are believed to have been an Engagement gift from Dr. Andrew Cassels Brown to Rachel Wilson during his post-graduation medical trip around Europe in 1899. Heinrich Mau was a prominent jeweller in Dresden in the late 19th century. The pearls have not been tested for natural origin and it is therefore for the buyer to form their own opinion as to whether the pearls are natural or cultured. The pearls measure approximately 7.55mm x 8.45mm x approximately 6.9mm deep and 7.52mm x 8.50mm x approximately 7.4mm deep. Both have a good lustre and display pink, blue and green tones. Both pearls have fine hairline cracks / natural imperfections. Diamonds measure approximately 1.5mm diameter. Decorative gold back, no obvious damage or repairs, screw fitting stamped '9c'. Each earring weighs 2.4 grams. Box in good original condition with wear commensurate with age

A 1994 Mercedes-Benz C220 Elegance, registration number L498 VRL, Pearl blue metallic. This low ownership C220 was supplied by Cathedral Motor Company, Truro, Cornwall (Mercedes-Benz main dealers) to its first owner. It was maintained by them until 2007, when the Mercedes was purchased by Mrs M W H Hillyer from Rampisham, Dorchester and maintenance was continued by Mercedes-Benz Dorchester. 20th century AD. A hollow-cast rectangular bronze seal block with high-relief designs of opposed dragons to three sides, rectangular panel with ornament and four reserved characters to the front; to the underside, a reserved block of six Chinese characters and two lines of cursive script; the handle formed as a dragon surrounded by lingzhi fungi grasping a pearl supported by two dragon-heads. From a central London collection formed between 1990-2000. 1.7 kg, 18cm (7"). Fine condition.
19th century AD. A tin-glazed bowl with deep basal ring, slightly flared rim; blue floral and geometric motifs to the outer face. From an important London collection, acquired in the 1970s. The Tek Sing (True Star) wreck is one of the famous recovery stories of the 20th century. Sailing from the port of Xiamen (then known as Amoy) in February 1822 the vessel Tek Sing was bound for Jakarta, Indonesia laden with porcelain goods and 1600 Chinese emigrants. The captain decided to pass through the Gaspar Strait, between the Bangka-Belitung Islands, and ran aground on a reef. The vessel sank in about 100 feet of water. The next morning, February 7, an English East Indiaman captained by James Pearl, passing through the same waters, encountered debris and some survivors and managed to rescue about 190 of the latter. 223 grams, 14.5cm (5 3/4"). Fine condition.
A 19th Century brass skeleton clock on mahogany stand with double fusee movement, the ornate design body having a brass circular dial with pierced scroll decoration to centre having hourly Roman numeral hourly markers, later painted black, having hour bell striking train, chapter ring having a faint indistinct makers name, fitted on mahogany veneered stand with mother of pearl inlay to the front with fret work panel area underneath clock area, with encasing glass dome, dome A/F. Height without dome 51cm.
