A George V silver strainer, Sheffield 1914, 13cm, with a silver and mother of pearl folding fruit knife, Sheffield 1932 (2) CONDITION REPORT: Strainer- Generally good but does bear a dent approx 1cm and some small little surface nicks. Fruit knife- Blade tarnished and slightly thin. Hallmarks legible. Handle appears good.

Other handle and neck probably restored and some gilding re-touched. Fly poo throughout and would need a very good clean.William III mug - Some pitting, crazing and mis-firing. Some minor staining, needs a very good clean, no obvious restoration, a very fine hairline to the inside, from the rim near the handle.

dating: late 18th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Heavy, octagonal, rifled, 17 mm cal. barrel, with rear sight and silver fore-sight, decorated with golden floral motifs. Miquelet type lock, decorated in gold. Wooden, full stock, completely decorated with mother-of-pearl, lozenge plaques, brown, wooden butt-plate. Iron ramrod. Scarce. length 115,8 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Austria, Straight, single-and false-edged blade with fuller on the back, tang with Solingen manufacturer; brass hilt, shell-guard with crowned monogram 'FJ1', loop-guard with a snake and oak leaves, pommel shaped as lion's head, grip with mother-of-pearl grip scales; metal scabbard (leather covering almost completely missing) with brass mounts, with two anchors and floral motifs in bass-relief. length 79 cm.
dating: early 20th Century provenance: South America, Straight blade of hexagonal section, engraved at the forte with rinceaux and trophies. Brass hilt with an emblem in relief and pierced border. Pierced quillon, with spirals. Pommel carved in bass-relief, mother-of-pearl grip scales with brass wire binding. Leather scabbard with brass mounts, engraved with laurel branches, cap with button. length 99 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 20th Century provenance: France, Straight blade of triangular section, with hollowed facets, with dedication and date 'LES SAUVETEURS A LEUR PRESIDENT 1911' and engraved with rinceaux. Brass hilt. Pierced shell-guard, with a central decorations to effigy a crowned shield held by two lions. Quillon and guard with leaves in relief. Grip with mother-of-pearl grip scales. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. length 92,7 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Piedmont, Straight, double-edged blade (later?), ribbed in the center, engraved until the half, with rinceaux, trophies and Savoy emblems, a thin fuller in the center, flat tang. Silver plated hilt, quillon made to be placed on the right side, with a small, scaled shell-guard, parry-quillon with a lion's head, guard decorated with flowers in relief in the center on one side and a face on the other. Grip with central band, with laurel branches, mother-of-pearl grip scales. Cap ending in a protome with female face, surrounded with crown of laurel branches. Leather scabbard with silver mounts, engraved with floral motifs. Repaired button. Chape ending in a grooved cusp. length 90,5 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Europe, Straight, double-edged blade, ribbed in the center, completely engraved with anchor and floral motifs on a dark ground; bronze, gilded hilt, decorated with floral motifs, mother-of-pearl grip scales. Brass, gilded scabbard, engraved with an anchor and floral motifs. two suspension rings. length 26.5 cm.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: France, One with iron, single-edged blade marked 'DUPUY A PARIS', one with blade in vermeil, stamped. Knive's grips carved en suite with ring-nut and cap with palmette and flower decorations on a dotted ground. Mother-of-pearl grip scales, an escutcheon with monogram on both cutlery. Together in the same case covered with fish skin, dyed in green and without cover. length knives 19 - 19,5 cm.
dating: 1868 - 1881 provenance: USA, Cylindrical, cal. 22 rimfire short barrel, high rib with fore-sight and company's marking with patents, swiveling upwards. Seven-shot cylinder. In working order. Smooth, mother-of-pearl grip scales (small part missing on the ground on one side). Serial number '61xxx'. Engraved with spirals on the barrel and flowers on the frame's sides. length 16,5 cm.
dating: 1875-1890 provenance: USA, Round, rifled, cal. 38 S&W barrel, rib marked with address and patents from 1877 to 1885. Fluted, five-shot cylinder. Double-action in working order, rear safety lock. Mother-of-pearl grip scales. Preserves a great part of antique nickel-plating. length 18,7 cm.
dating: 1875-1890 provenance: USA, Round, 3-1/4', cal. 38 S&W barrel, rib with company's address and patents, British stamps on the side. Fluted, five-shot cylinder. Remains of antique nickel-plating, trigger-guard and barrel's hook with remains of finishing. Mother-of-pearl grip scales. Serial number '47xxx'. In a good working order, in single and double action. length 19 cm.
