A pair of Chinese mother of pearl shells on stands, 19th century, gilt decorated to each side with peacocks and birds, trees, floral sprays and hills, on floral carved ebonised stands, stand height 14.5cm, full height 30.5cm. Condition report: Apart from one area of repair stands in good condition. One mother of pearl shell has been badly glued. Some loss of decoration in back. A small crack in other shell and a loss of gilt to peacock's feathers and body, some damage to edge of shell and corners. Two deep faults on back.

Condition report: Some damage to vase.Bowl - some scratches, fair condition.Pitting all over jar, air holes.
A Chinese Beijing silk roundel for a robe or wall panel, finely embroidered in gold, blue and white silks with ling chin fungus, a dragon and phoenix guarding a centrally placed sacred pearl with flames, the rim with a border of flowers and foliage and with three characters reading Nan yang gong " South sun palace", diameter 82cm.
A Japanese bronze globular bodied koro and cover, supported on tripod dragon headed feet and with looped handles modelled as two dragon heads guarding a sacred pearl, the body decorated in relief with sparrows flitting between pine trees against a ground of archaic patterned diaper motifs within a palmette border, the cover cast as rocks with scattered bamboo, supporting a central finial of a bird of prey perched upon a gnarled tree with spreading branches, mid Meiji period, height 25cm. Condition report: Soldered repair beneath bird finial.
