A Victorian gem-set gold Holbeinesque pendant, centred with a cabochon emerald between four octagonal-cut garnets. The gold mount set with four pear-shaped emeralds and four red guilloche enamel flowerheads each centred with a small diamond. With further enamel decoration. Suspending an untested pearl which hangs from the small diamond and enamel-decorated cap. The bale and conjoining scroll section further decorated with blue and white enamel. The small circular link possibly added later. Profuse foliate scroll-engraved decoration to the reverse. 7cm high. Fitted case by Bloom.

On a seed pearl mounted platinum chain. 44cm long (exluding drop section) Accompanied by report number 5776-5588 dated 17th May 2016 from GCS, London stating that the 67 cream coloured pearls with orient measure approximately 2.8 - 3.7mm in diameter (beads) and approximately 9.6 - 9.7 x 13.3mm (drop) and are all natural saltwater pearls with no indications of treatment. The pearls under 3mm may be either natural or cultured.

Early 20th century Chinese screen, the central embroidered panel depicting birds amongst flowering branches, the frame and support inlaid with mother of pearl decoration on lion dog supports, 72cm x 53.5ccm CONDITION REPORT: Frame - Joints at top left and bottom right are apart by about 4-6mm. Frame as a whole rather scuffed, dirty and slightly scratched. Bottom apron slightly loose but alright Inlay appears complete apart from seven small missing circles of mother of pearl. Lion dog supports - one is slightly nibbled at front paws. Stitching of embroidery is good. Background silk is slightly mottled colour, surface is slightly scraped on the right hand side. Back of screen has bracing at four corner joints on back, bottom apron is slightly loose, natural hole at back of apron with crack coming from it. Back leg of one lion dog is broken off. Calligraphy at back of wood.
Chinese late 19th or early 20th century padouk wood table of rectangular form on a deep carved, pierced and mother of pearl inlaid apron, raised on square supports, 52cm x 98cm, 95cm high CONDITION REPORT: Good patina to surface but slightly lighter to right hand corner. Two old cracks to surface centre panel left. Two slight cracks going right from left hand corner joint and small repaired area. Slight lengthways crack on left hand side. Scratching and one central crack c4cm. Centre panel not loose. Whole piece is steady and sound. Back panel is uncarved and legs are not inlaid. Front right joint is slightly out of the joint c5-7mm. Leg very slightly sitting forward. RIght side carving and inlay good. Front panel - both side apron panels out of joint, dropped 6-8mm and also top apron panel, few minor losses to mother of pearl, one petal missing from carved apron right hand side. Left side panel - one block (to ecure carved apron to leg) is missing but all carving is complete and other side is out of joint c6-8mm. One small mother of pearl inlay missing. Legs scuffed towards bases.
Late 19th Chinese yellow ground dish, decorated with lion dogs, amongst clouds with cloud and flaming pearl decorative rim, six character mark to base, lucky bat decoration to exterior, 43cm. CONDITION REPORT: Glaze scratched/worn to interior, red bats to exterior slightly worn otherwise seems good. Foot rim has Christies label (34 and dated 14/12/78)
Good 19th century Chinese fan, the leaves decorated with courtiers in a palace setting, ivory heads, the guards in gilt metal with enamelled decoration, gilt wire and relief silver wire dragon decoration, the sticks alternating pierced gilt wire with enamel mother of pearl, pierced and stained green red and white ivory and sandlewood, 27.5cm CONDITION REPORT: When open side one - leaf is generally good commensurate with age, paint loss at folds, no missing heads. Generally paintwork is good and bright, some tiny tears at bottom edge of leaf. Conditions are right to left. Sticks 1. 1st sandlewood, strengthened towards base. 2. ivory appears ok. 3. red ivory appears ok. 4. gilt wire, slight strengthening perhaps just aboe lower enamelled area, slight discoloured areas, (wire). 5. green ivory - some discoloured areas mainily towards base. 6. tortoiseshell appears ok. 7. gilt wire - some slight enamel losses, ? some strengthening in some places as 4. 8. mother of pearl appears ok. 9. tortoiseshell appears ok. 10. green ivory appears ok. 11. gilt wire appears good. 12.red ivory appears good. 13. ivory appears good 14. sandlewood, one tiny loss in main section. 15. gilt wire - possible some strengthening at base, some wire missing, slightly discoloured in areas. Side 2 open Leaf similar condition to reverse, timy tears damage to bottom of leaf, some minor gilt paper losses at top of leaf. Other side of sticks One slightly larger loss at top of mother of pearl stick, one face is missing. Mother of pear stick has crack across, just below large section, not really visible on other side otherwise condition is as per other side. Total dimensions when open 52cm x 29cm.
Early 20th century Chinese century three panel screen, the hardwood frame inlaid with mother of pearl scrolling flowers, each panel with a central and smaller lower embroidered panel depicting birds amongst flowers, pierced and carved surmounts and shi-shi supports, 125cm x 113cm CONDITION REPORT: The backs to the screen are wood, there is painted text on one of them. Hooks and eyes for joining panels are present, slightly loose. two iron dog feet are present, both have slight cut-outs to their backs and rather dry. Centre panel - embroidery, background silk has slightly mottled look to it, otherwise stitching looks pretty good condition. Frame looks in pretty good but rather dry condition, top panel slightly loose but appears pretty good condition - it slots into top of panel. Some tiny losses to inlay and several small inlaid circles missing. Side panel 1 - a few slight marks to cream ground of silk, two slightly more prominent marks, bottom panel slightly watermarked. Some tiny losses to inlay and missing two flower head and four leaves. Top section slightly wobbly/loose, four inlaid circles of mother of pearl missing. Side panel 2 - condition of embroidery similar to side panel, but slightly better condition, one flowerhead inlay missing, four small inlaid circles of mother of pearl missing.

A Chinese carved ivory puzzle ball, late 19th/early 20th Century The carved and pierced circular base, rising to a carved figural base, with knopped stem and dish upper cup supporting a heavily carved spherical ball, carved with dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, encompassing several layers to the interior, overall 22cm high, together with original fitted box. CONDITION REPORT: Second inner ball has been broken and cracked into pieces. Third ball cracked in half. Two further inner balls damaged.
A Japanese ivory shibayama snuff dish, late Meiji Period (1868-1912) Of oval form, with gently sloped sides, carved and stained with geometric borders, the central field applied with mother of pearl depictions of birds and flowering lotus, 10cm x 9cm. CONDITION REPORT: Eight pieces of inlay missing. Inner oval body loose but clean.
