A CHINESE 20KT YELLOW GOLD AND PEARL MOUNTED BROOCH. Mounted with five graduated pearls within claw setting, on a pierced bar brooch, stamped 20 W, with maker's mark, perhaps Hong Kong. Gross weight 7.7 grams, 7cm longThe central cultured pearl is probably replaced as it is a slightly different colour and more uniform shape than the others. One of the smaller pearls is rubbed to surface nacre. The pin and clasp are functioning although the pin is slightly misshapen. Overall in good decorative order.
A LATE 19TH CENTURY PERSIAN GOBLET-SHAPED KHATAM KARI MARQUETRY TOMBAK. The drum inlaid with bone, mother-of-pearl, brass and wood with a continuous micro mosaic pattern of geometric star shapes within bone cartouches, on cylindrical stem and spreading foot. 47.5cm highCondition: There are several large areas of losses to the marquetry decoration, exposing the wooden carcass beneath. Some of the border inlays are loose at the upper and lower edges and are present. The underside of the drum is also inlaid and there are some small losses there. The drum's skin covering remains intact and functioning.

Boldly decorated in gilding with a scrolling five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amongst clouds and scattered seal marks, within lappet, key and waved borders, the gilt base decorated with printed red enamel apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, fitted in a black and gold silk lined box. 39.5cm high.Overall in good order. A LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE BLACK LACQUER RECTANGULAR KIMONO PRESENTATION TRAY IN ORIGINAL BOX. Decorated with the Seven Autumn Grasses, with mother-of-pearl inlaid flowers, silver grasses and gilt leaves, the underside in nashiji lacquer, with cloth bag and original wooden box titled with the pattern and the date November 1924. 64.5cm x 40cmSlight surface crack to one corner from rim leading finely into the base of the tray, otherwise this is in lovely condition and the lacquer is in excellent order. The wooden box has small holes to top but is clearly inscribed and in good order overall.
