A Victorian 18ct gold half pearl dress ring, Birmingham 1897, box, size J, together with a 22ct gold wedding band, Birmingham 1917, weight 3 gms, size J, the wedding ring apon the wedding finger of a pair of white kid gloves, a visiting card in the name of Ethel Walker Catchpole of Carlisle and the dates 27.7.1889, married 26.12.1917.
A French silver, mother of pearl and paste Belle Epoque necklace, bearing control marks, composed of three graduated panels set with pink and colourless paste with a garland drop below, length 42 cm, cased by D & J Welby Ltd, Garrick St, London. Daniel and John Welby started at 57 King Street, Soho Square, later moving to 20 Garrick Street, Covent Garden, WC, where by 1897 they are listed as diamond merchants and wholesale jewellers and dealers in plate, becoming a Limited Company in that year. The business closed in 1973.

A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER GILT SNUFF BOX of rectangular form, the hinged mother of pearl set cover carved in relief with Daniel in the lion's den, the interior inscribed 'Edward Hooper, Lessee of the Saint James Theatre, to Mr George Wombwell in token of his courageous conduct in the management of his forest of wild animals', in fitted case, 10.2cm x 5cm x 3.3cm Mr Wombwell established a travelling menagerie in 1805 which appeared annually in the Grassmarket, Edinburgh. Mr Wombwell travelled with his menagerie until in his death in 1850, whereafter his animals and accessories were auctioned off at the Pavilion, Waverley Market. A 15CT GOLD PINK AND GREEN TOURMALINE, DEMATOID GARNET AND PEARL PENDANT NECKLACE with a 9ct gold chain, dimensions of gem set area 8.5cm x 5.5cm, length of chain 44cm, weight 11.8gms Condition Report: All pearls in situ. There would have been a further pendant gem hanging from the centre of the pearl oval in the middle, loop is present. Pink gems have inclusions indicative of tourmaline. Mount all good, chain and clasp all good.
