A 19th Century Papier-Mâché Hinged Sewing Box, of bombe shape, decorated with gilt scrolls to the sides, the cover is painted with a view of a European river scene, with fisherman in two sailing boats in the foreground, enclosing a green velvet and silk lined lift out tray, includes mother-of-pearl sewing accessories, needle cases, bobbins etc, 35cm by 17cm by 26cm.Lift out tray - the fabric is worn and stained. Cracks visible to the base from the inside. Restoration to the back of the hinged lid, where it attaches to the hinges, also to one corner at the back of the box. The gilt decoration is very rubbed. Replacement ? white metal mounts and lock.

Feet chipped, some beading missing.

Brown crepe dress - 37'' bust, slight wear under the arms, and slight wear overall. Susan Small dress - 34'' bust, slight wear.

Slight wear overall. Silk mount to fan case has split, also water marks to it and wear.
