Of Royal interest: Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood, an attractive French sewing etui, circa 1830, the hinged case of oval section and tapering form, the lid inlaid with gilt metal leaves and mother-of-pearl within a ivory line border (one small section missing). The lid interior in white silk, the flush fitted base in beige velvet with fancy gold needle case, gold handled bodkin, steel bladed scissors with gold arms and loops and a gold thimble, case 12.5cm. Of Royal interest: Mary, Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood, Marzo, Paris, Belle Epoque platinum brooch with central natural Conch pearl, 14-14.2mm width, depth 11-12mm; flanked by 44 square and rectangular, step cut diamonds, 1.5-1.75 carats approx., natural iridescent grey pearl' 12.2-12.3mm width, depth 9-10mm; natural cream/white pearl, 11.7-11.9mm width, depth 10-11mm, brooch width 7.8cm, in the original blue tooled leather Marzo case, with Pearl Report from The Gem and Pearl Laboratory. Provenance: by direct descent, believed to have been a gift from the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, to Mary. (3)

A Mother of Pearl Plaque from Jerusalem the Last Supper and The Resurrection and Ascent into Heaven.This was presented to Mother Sarah by the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem sometime in the 1920's to mark the occasion of her visit to the Holy City as the First Anglican women Religious. 89cm h x 68cm w.In 1932 it was moved to Laleham Abbey and was in the Chapel. In 1960's it went with the Community to Cheltenham and in the 1990's it was returned and was in the Chapel until 2007 when it then came into the vendors possession.
