A pair of Chinese export blue and white vases, each having a slender neck to a bulbous lower body, with applied dragon decoration, blue and white decorated with a four-claw dragon chasing a pearl, h.21cmCondition report: One with large two piece chip to the rim, further large broken and re-glued, chips to foot rim. Second vase with large break to rim all of the way around, further break at join and in two further places, hairline crack, chipped to foot rim.

A 9ct ruby and seed pearl naval crown brooch, set with alternating panels of small round rubies and seed pearls, with a lower band of alternating single rubies and seed pearls, hallmarked to reverse Birmingham 1982, with makers mark J.W.B, 24mm wide, (3.3g), cased by Richard Ogden, Burlington Arcade, London, with accompanying receipt. No apparent faults.

Two mid 19th century garnet and seed pearl mourning brooches, the first with a rectangular glazed panel with blonde hairwork, surrounded by seed pearls and round garnets, set in unmarked rose gold (tests as approx. 14ct or better), 24mm long, (4.8g), together with another similar example with brown hairwork, all set in unmarked yellow gold, (tests as approx. 14ct or better), 26mm long, (5.4g)Condition report: Overall condition good. Several pearls damaged. Several garnets abraded. One garnet fractured. Lead solder evident to backs of both.

A string of Mikura black pearls with good lustre and an 18ct gold clasp and bead detail, each pearl approx 6- 6.7mm, length of string 42cm, weight 18.7gms Condition Report: Has a Mikura Certificate of Guarantee, which states dyed black freshwater pearls.. These certificates are just point of sale documents. In my opinion they are definitely dyed black cultured pearls, with a good lustre, nice quality, with 18ct clasp and beads, stringing appears sound, they look like they have never been worn..

Two of the brooches the pins are not gold .

Yellow metal pin probably gold. little bit bent. Triangle brooch probably silver and gold untested, carnelian brooch, untested yellow metal, carnelian not cut very well, pin bent.
