A twentieth century gem set Blackamoor brooch, modelled with a carved ebony face and wearing a turban inset with a rose cut coral, garnets, diamonds and sapphires, with pearl earrings and a garnet and diamond set robe, measures 3.5cm long . The brooch is in good condition, the coral is chipped. It is stamped '750', valued as gold. It fastens with a double pin and c-hook. Gross weight 6.6 grams. Condition Report made 28th November 2018.

A duck's foot volley pistol, the four barrels half turned and half hexagonal, the mahogany handle set with wire and mother of pearl decoration CONDITION REPORTS Wear to the wooden handle, discolouration and fading. Some areas of rust and tarnishing to the metal. Numerous surface scratches and knocks and small dents to both the metal and the wooden handle. Cocking and firing mechanism works although quite stiff. Build-up of dirt and dust and other accretions. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
