All split pearls are present and well matched in colour. Some glue residue seen to pearl set terminals. Minor surface scratches seen to 'moonstone'Minor inclusion seen to reverse of 'moonstone' when viewed with x10 loupe. Reverse of bar is scratched with numbers. Hinge pin in good functional condition. Split seen to removable locket back. Box at fault.

A French rosewood sewing box in the form of a rectangular piano, raised on four turned legs supporting a drawer, below a hinged lid centred by a two colour metal floral inlay within an outer brass line, the whole embellished with bobbin mouldings. The compartmentalised interior in pink silk and velvet with a pair of mother of pearl snowflake silk winders in circular compartments and five gilt metal accessories comprising, thimble, stiletto, scissors, bodkin and scent bottle, complete with key, 23 x 15.5 x 16cms.
