A good stained birch (simulated mulberry) workbox in the form of a piano, first quarter of the 19th century, the case with inset ivory "keyboard" and with pierced mother of pearl mounts, the interior with velvet lined lift-out tray fully fitted with mother of perarl implements and cases including a quiver form needle case, gilt-metal mounted scissors etc, above a compartment with assorted other fittings (some associated) and a musical movement (now detached).
