A Set of Twelve Victorian Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Handled Fish Knives and Forks and a Pair of Matching Servers, by Elkington & Co. Birmingham 1881, the blades engraved with fish and leaf scrolls and with plain handles, contained in walnut canteen, the panelled top with brass shield plaque, and retailed by Elkington & Co Manchester, 15.25ins x 12ins x 5ins highin general terms all pieces appear to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration. There is some light wear to hallmarks. The handles are all well fixed and clean. The tines of the forks are straight. The wooden case is in reasonable condition, with some typical wear/scratching/knocks to the timber. The two front mitre joints to the box have slightly sprung.
