A 19th century Indian gold, garnet and seed pearl set demi parure, comprising and a drop fringe necklace and pair of matching ear clips, the chain link necklace set with five pear cut garnets, each inset with a seed pearl, necklace 46cm, ear clips 55mm, gross weight 38.8 grams.***CONDITION REPORT***There is a drop missing from one of the ear clips. The gold on the chain of the necklace has been tested as 17ct and the mounts for the garnet drops have been tested for 16ct. The ear clip section on the earrings is stamped 'roll gold', so may be a later addition??. One of the garnets on the necklace has a scratch close to the setting of the seed pearl. A few minor scratches and dings to the back of the setting of the stones. All stones are in a closed back setting, so possibly foil backed?? One gold drop on the necklace is dented and has two splits.
