Kitagawa Utamaro II (Japanese, d. 1831) watercolor and ink on handmade Japanese paper signed in ink along the left quadrant. This rare and important work depicts two women standing on a rocky ledge as another woman is diving into the water for an abalone. This original painting was created into a woodblock triptych titled æ±Å¸ä¹â€¹å³¶é®â€˜çŒŸä¹â€¹å›³ (Enoshima Awabi-ryÅ no Zu). The scene is from the left panel of the triptych and dates to around 1804-1806. The watercolor is not framed. A folding fan circa 1840-1850 with bone monture with silk and handmade lace to the obverse of the leaf. Intricate carving of floral and astral designs to the guards and sticks. Professional restoration visible on several sticks preserving shape and integrity. With metal loop and mother of pearl rivet. Length 25cm and spread of approximately 42cm.
An 18th Century double leaf hand painted folding fan possibly Dutch. With fretted ivory monture highlighted with mother of pearl, gold and silver leaf in a chinoiserie design. The hand painted scene depicting a couple and children, with a Baroque style border on the obverse. A simpler hand painted scene of a man and dog on the reverse. One broken guard visible (repairable). Length 27cm with spread of approximately 41cm.

A late Victorian Liberty & Co., ebonised and painted tilt top tableThe tri-form base raised upon three compressed bun feet extending to a baluster stem with knopped sections, the upper tilt top painted with central vignette of Arcadian landscape and inlaid with Mother of Pearl set within gilt scroll borders, the outer rim further detailed with jeweled fleur de lys and vine leaf tracery borders, picked out with red, green and blue enamels, impressed Liberty & Co. to base, 70cm high, 65.5cm diameter.
