19TH CENTURY FRENCH ORMOLU TWO TRAIN, PORCELAIN MOUNTED MANTEL CLOCK in Classical style with urn shaped finial over Roman painted porcelain face with foliate centre, foliate scroll work flanking French porcelain figural panel, the base with similar figural panels, on a wooden plinth. Two train French brass drum movement striking on one bell, 40cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Complete with pendulum but not key, overall retaining bright gilding and with no significant damage, merely minor wear and tear.
A Vienna style porcelain mantel clock with domed top above dial and panel depicting courting couple, on gilt heightened ground, height 39cm (af), a Sèvres style porcelain plaque decorated dressing table top mirror on wooden base, width 36cm, and a similar jewellery casket (3). CONDITION REPORT: The clock has got the finial broken off but present and there is a large crack to lower part of the body running from the dial to the base.Box: Some of the mounts slightly raised from body, some rubbing to gilt finish, some light abrasions to porcelain panels.Mirror: Moves laterally as mounts/supports are loose, missing 5cm of applied metal border to right side (as seen in picture), some mounts are slightly raised from body, gilt rubbed on mounts, abrasion to porcelain panels, two raised sections of wood at back, some near-splits to veneer and general wear to wooden body.

A French brass and Sèvres style porcelain panel decorated eight day mantel clock, the circular cherub decorated dial set with Roman hour markers above a panel depicting a courting couple in a garden, on bracket feet, movement stamped D.G & Co 285, Paris, 724, also with mark of Vincenti Cie, 1855, height 36cm. CONDITION REPORT: Concentrated areas of loss and discolouration to painted and gilt decoration around twin keyholes to dial, further spotting and areas of further spotting and areas of discolouration to painted panels but no major scratches or losses visible, some losses to the enamel work front and side panels, spotting/areas of discolouration and minor pitting to front panel throughout with pronounced visibility against turquoise glaze, rubbing to gilt detail throughout, mechanism has not been tested, loss/abrasion to edges of left hand panel, viewing recommended if possible, general wear to metal mounts.
