A Victorian 19th century eight day oak cased mantel clock. The clock having raised pierced gallery back, floral carved spandrels, Arabic numerals to the chapter ring & carved geometric patterns below. Measuring approx. 34cm high.

Lot 1549

A 19th century Victorian slate mantel clock garniture. The clock having Arabic numeral to the chapter ring with fleur de lys manner hands and gilt metal gadrooning to the surround encased in bevelled glass. The mantle clock-face being flanked by marble inlay with engraved detail beneath, all being raised upon gilt metal pad feet with an ornate brass urn with pierced scroll handles. The clock accompanied by a pair of five arm brass candelabra over slate bases with corresponding pas feet. Eight day movement. Measures 40cm tall.
