A 19th century French mahogany cased mantel clock, the convex circular enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, inscribed "Lieutaud Paris", the eight day movement stamped "Planchon Paris, Medaille d'Argent, 1855" and No'd. 2063-58 CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs and some scratches. Some metal mount fittings, pins / fitments missing. Some tarnish to metal mounts. Some flaking to varnished finish. Some mis-shaping to finial to top. Height approx 46 cm including finial.
A brass and enamel mantel clock in the French taste with Roman numerals to the enamelled dial, decorated with cherubs below CONDITION REPORTS Overall quite heavy wear and scuffs. Various mis-shaping to the feet, finials, etc. Piece of decoration to the front is detached and has some cracks. Decoration or fitment to the top of the clock is missing (please see photos). Hands bent and worn. Dial with scuffs and wear to decoration. Generally with some tarnish and pitting and losses to the gilt finish plus some cracks and repairs to the casing. Size approx 26 cm high. It is not known whether the movement is complete, nor whether in working order.
