An early 19th Century mahogany cased mantel clock of architectural form, the eight day movement with circular painted dial inscribed "C.W. Jarvis Notting Hill" (probably retailer) with Roman numerals to the chapter ring raised on squat fluted turned feet, 25 cm wide x 36 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has a twin fusee movement. It does appear to "tick - (and tock)". Right key wind appears loose and working, however left key wind appears over wind/tight. Case basically sound though with some areas of damage/loss, particularly to the beading rear left corner and beading rear right. Some damage to the top of the ridge. Replacement panel front left top and front right top - see images for further detail. Face again basically sound though with some signs of wear, particularly to the numbers around three/four o'clock and five o'clock. Scratching to the paintwork through eleven o'clock towards and past the name - see images for further detail
