CONDITION REPORT: Losses to the gilding and paint work to porcelain areas, losses to gilding to the metalwork throughout, door has previously been broken off, crudely repaired and is now detached, heavy bubbling to the door, many of the joints in the metal do not sit flush.

Hamburg American Clock Co; an oak-cased fourteen-day strike mantel clock with turned and knopped finials, the chapter ring set with Roman numerals, diameter approx 10cm, the rear door interior with manufacture label, number label 3150 and 'Wm. Pike & Sons Ltd, Birkenhead' retailer label, the movement numbered 164/42 130 and with crossed arrow trademark, height 47cm. CONDITION REPORT The finish is quite flat and there are some minor cracks to the veneer. There are no obvious signs of restoration.
