A late 19th century French ormolu mantel clock with enamel dial and inset enamel panels, height 24cm, with key.Condition Report: The main things to note about the condition of this clock are that the back cover of the movement is missing and that there seems to be a repair to the top, which suggests that the finial at the top has been off at some point in its life. There is also slight chipping the enamel on the dial where the two winding holes are and slight losses around the figure of the young boy, as pictured below. There are two panels at the bottom left and bottom right of the clock that are made of brass and to me look like a later edition where there should have been enamelled panels.Everything I have mentioned has been photographed below so please do also have a look for yourself.
