TWO VINTAGE CLOCKS, comprising an eight day mantel clock in a wooden case, metal painted dial with Roman numerals, small inside metal dial with numbers on, black metal pointed spade hands, some floral details in the corner, pendulum, glass hinged door with reverse painted art nouveau style glass plate, (the paint on the dial is badly cracked and parts chipped off, not tested, wooden case has signs of wear in various places, would benefit from restoration work), E. N. Welch ' Jewel' cut glass octagonal clock, bevelled front, in amber, sub second dial, thirty hour spring driven movement, winds and sets from the back in a red leather bound, velvet lined hinged case, (crack in the bevelled front, crack in the amber glass, not tested, seems to be overwound), (2), (Condition Report: see main description both untested)

A large Louis XIV style ormolu, brass and tortoiseshell Boulle style mantel clock in the Baroque taste - 19th century, in the manner of Martinot of Paris, the eight day movement striking the half hours on a bell, with key, fronted by a cast brass dial decorated in bas relief with a cherub mask, an angel and beast heads amidst foliate Arabesques, the chapter ring with black and white enamel Roman cushion numerals, above an arcaded architectural panel, the caddy top case with scrolling foliate decoration in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle, eight flame finials and caryatid and acanthus leaf mounts, on toupie feet, 62cm high.* In good condition overall, with some minor faults – a handsome looking clock in good order overall and it hasn’t been over-cleaned or over-restored in the past. The clock runs and strikes correctly when catalogued, although we have not checked the time keeping. No damage to enamel numerals. The brass inlays are virtually intact – there is just one small loss to the foliate cartouche to the lower right side of the case. There is also some lifting to this cartouche and the other three similar cartouches to the top and bottom of the case sides. The brass edging is lifting to the front left of the case top, just above the main arch. Two small losses from the tortoiseshell to the centre of the foliate cartouche to the top of the left side of the case. There is a gilt bronze bar missing from the lower left of the case (from below the brass inlaid foliate cartouche). See photo attached.
Hamburg American Clock Co., a 14-day mantel clock the movement with cross-keys trademark and striking the hours on a gong, the break-arch dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands, the case having a curved top, fluted columns, with brass finials and mounts, inside the rear door having pasted trademark for H.A.C. and serial number 3115, height 35.5cm.
Richard et Cie, Paris a black slate mantel clock the eight-day duration mnovement striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with the back-plate stamped with theentwined serpent trademark for Richard et Cie and numbered 3655, the gilt-brass dial having an ivorine chapter ring with black Arabic numerals, and blued-steel spade hands, the black marble case with fluted brass pillars to the four corners, a shaped pediment top with classical bronzed frieze and presentation plaque dated 1906, height 32cm.

Ticks at time of testing. No information on last service. Some minor nibbles to case,would also benefit from a clean. Lower left chrome ovoid mount missing. Please refer to additional images, though get back in touch if this doesn't make sense.Unable to adjust hands, so this will require attention.

Early Georgian period Austrian 8 day mantel/bracket clock by Johan Zegner of Wienn with arched brass dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, repeating pull cord, two bell mechanism. In black ebonised case with gilt detail, finials to four corners of top with two gilt pineapple finials which are a marriage. Glazed front, back, sides, 49cm high, standing on ball and claw feet, unchecked.
19th century French Empire ormolu and patinated bronze putto and chariot mantel clock, 8 day with gilt detail, on a rectangular marble stand silvered and engine turned clock face with Roman numerals as the chariot's wheel, being pulled by a lion. Classical scene to stand with mermaid decoration. 41cm high x 45cm long. Good condition with no pendulum, unchecked, Untested, Some loss/chips to marble stand, general ware, back door is loose.
