19th Century French mantel clock 19th Century French gilt ormolu and porcelain mantel clock, eight day movement striking on a single bell, brocot suspension. Decorative blue and white enamel face with gilded Roman numerals. Body is surmounted with a large decorative twin-handled urn and flanked by gilt ormolu swags. Standing on four scroll feet and comes with an oval, blue velvet-topped, gilded wood stand.clock 23cm wide, 41.5cm high. Stand 39.5cm wide, 25cm deep.
French Marble and Gilt Metal Mantel Clock Garniture Late 19th Century French pink marble and gilt metal mantel clock garniture. Eight day movement striking on single bell, brocot suspension, backplate is stamped 'Japy Freres'. White enamel face with Arabic numerals and floral swag decoration. Body is surmounted with three finials above four brass-capped marble columns that flank a central gilt metal cherub and 'Sun King' pendulum, standing on brass feet. Accompanied by a pair of pink marble and gilt metal garnitures modelled as ornamental urns. Mantle clock 23cm wide, 37cm high. Garnitures 22cm high.
