There is some rubbing to the gilt finish on the body of the clock and some verdigris showing through some areas of enamel. The rear lens on the door to the movement is cracked and the bezel for that door is a dulled finish, rather than gilt brass like the rest of it. Otherwise good condition. The movement ticks when wound, though this is no guarantee of working order. The back plate of the movement is stamped with the maker's name just off-centre, it is further stamped '999' to the left hand side and '55' to the lower edge.
