The exuberant scrolling Rococo case surmounted by an asymmetric swirl of flowers and foliage, flanked by rocaille-work scrolls leading down to an open cast base with the figure of a cherub sat to the centre. The decoratively cast dial inset with enamelled numeral cartouches. Standing on an elaborately carved and velvet topped giltwood stand, 21 ins (53 cms) in height.
