Nineteenth century French mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, outside countwheel, blue porcelain dial with Roman numerals in white panels and central floral decoration, in a decorative gilt metal case inset with painted porcelain panels and surmounted by the figure of a classical maiden holding a torch and book standing on a gilt plinth, 36.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Dial is undamaged. Case is good, minor wear to gilding. Rear is signed - P. H. Mourey and numbered 6325. Porcelain panels are undamaged. Gold finish in plinth is worn in places and velvet / silk is very worn
Late nineteenth century mantel clock garniture comprising clock with French eight day movement striking on a bell, blue porcelain dial with Roman numerals in white panels and central painted scene of a watermill, in a decorative gilt metal case with inset painted porcelain panel, lion mask ring handles and other classical decoration surmounted by a porcelain urn, standing on four lion paw feet, together with two similarly decorated gilt metal and porcelain urns, 37cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Generally good condition overall. Movement is clean and appears to be in working order. Dial has minor damage around winding holes and has hairline crack between VIII and IX. Both urns have minor damage to painted decoration and gilding is worn in places. Urn on top of clock has signs of crazing to rear but could by just heavy dirt. Gilt high points are worn. Movement is signed Japy Freres behind bell and numbered 580
Late Victorian mantel clock garniture comprising clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, matt brass dial with cream chapter ring and Roman numerals in a gilt metal mounted marble case in the form of a classical temple, together with two marble and gilt metal columned ornaments containing classical figures, 44cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Movement is quite clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Gong is rusty. Dial is dirty but undamaged. Clock case is good, although front right hand corner of marble pediment edge is damaged. Marble moulding along front below dial is cracked in two places. Gilding is worn and two front pilasters are loose. Two marble ornaments are in good condition, although gilding is dirty

Movement is clean but we are unable to say if it is in full working order. Key and pendulum are present. Case is in very good condition. No visible damage. Porcelain panels are undamaged. Dial has minor scratches. Plinth is dirty and some missing gilt decoration. Velvet is tired
