There is some rubbing to the Roman numerals on the dial, with further small areas of pitting to the dial itself. Appears to be complete. Strikes on a gong. Movement stamped 'A.G Mougin' and '183 69'. There is no key or pendulum. The feather and the upper clasp is attached to the movement. Would benefit from a thorough clean.

JAEGER-LECOULTRE; a gilt brass mantel clock, the pierced sliding doors enclosing a silvered face and chapter ring set with Roman numerals, signed to the centre, with wind-up mechanism, the rectangular clock on a scroll base, height 12.5cm. CONDITION REPORT The case is scratched and tarnished and the alarm silent button appears to be missing. The mechanism does not appear to tick when wound.

A 19th century mantel clock, the white dial set with Roman numerals, with an overarching scrolling foliate metal mount surmounted by an emu, each side suspending a large carved egg, possibly emu, one depicting a man seated before a camp fire, the other depicting a kookaburra and emu, the whole mounted on a stepped wooden base, underneath a glass dome, height of dome approx 45cm, together with two painted bisque figures depicting Classical maidens seated on naturalistic bases, one possibly Demeter, carrying wheatsheaf, the other possibly Artemis, carrying reeds under one arm with a bow and a quiver to her back (all af) (3). CONDITION REPORT The clock is lacking its hands and the dial is at an angle. One of the foliate branches to the clock is broken off but present within the dome. The left hand ostrich egg is cracked. The overarching mount is leaning backwards.The figure carrying reeds has had the upper part of her bow broken off, as well as the arrows from her quiver. The figure carrying the wheatsheaf missing something from her hand and to her wrist.
A late 19th century black japanned Chinoiserie quarter chiming mantel clock Heightened with gilt chinoiseries, the pagoda top with three ball finials above an arched glazed door flanked by columns enclosing an arched matted dial with 6 1/2" silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, the movement quarter chiming on four coiled gongs striking on the hour on a fifth, with deadbeat escapement; on shaped bracket feet, 32cm wide, 25cm deep, 57cm high.

A French gilt metal and porcelain mantel clock, emblematic of Innocence, late 19th / early 20th century, with bell strike movement marked 'R&C Paris & London' (probably Richard & Co.), no.5751, fronted by a pink porcelain dial with Roman numerals and floral garland, a similar plaque to the base with a musical trophy, the gilt metal case with a maiden standing beside a plinth, a pair of doves at her feet, on a shaped base with fluted and toupie feet, stamped 'P.H. Mourey' to reverse, 15 ¾in. (40cm.) high, with original giltwood and velet stand. (2) * Lacks pendulum. Minute hand bent. Porcelain dial and panel in good condition. Some wear to gilt, mainly to figure's robe. Base has some gilt wear.

A 19th century boulle twin train mantel clock, the 'P. Japy et Cie' movement, no. '1271 4 6', striking the hours and half hours on a gong, the 3 ¾in. gilt dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals and cast floral decoration, within a balloon shaped case with foliate and rocaille mounts and conforming surmount, 15in. (38cm.) high, with key. * Condition: Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Very original condition - no evidence of restoration. Case is quite dirty and dusty. Some surface rust to gong. Hammer is bent slightly to prevent contact with the gong. Overall wear and tarnishing to gilt metal mounts. Very minor lifting to brass boulle inlay in a couple of places. No losses or repairs.

Poursillie Montauban', no. 436, with outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell, fronted by a white enamel dial, signed indistinctly, with blue Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute track, the ormolu case decorated with swags, foliage and rocaille, with a seated cherub and two nesting love birds, on scroll and foliate feet, 11½in. (29.25cm.) high. * Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Surface dirt to upper surfaces of case. Signature to dial rubbed but otherwise good with just minor scratches. Good overall.
A 19th century ebonised and gilt metal mantel clock, the twin train movement numbered 4581, striking the hours on a gong, fronted by a silvered Roman arched dial with gilt mask and floral spandrels and gilt foliate bezel to the bevelled glass door, in a bell top case with urn and cone finials, canted corners with gilt caryatid mounts, gilt arched grilles to sides and foliate gilt feet, 18 ¼in. (46.25cm.) high, movement overwound, requires repair. * Striking train of the movement has been overwound. The pendulum suspension spring is detached and damaged. The dial and case are in very good condition overall, with just minor wear to ebonising to corners. Key to rear case door present and lock working.

(44.5cm.) high. * Runs and strikes. Good condition overall with no faults. Original label to inside of movement door.
