A mid-19th century French gilt brass mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamelled circular dial with blue Roman hour numerals and outer black Arabic minutes, the drum case with urn surmount and lion mask drop ring handles, on foliate scroll moulded supports flanking acanthus festoon and fret panels, on an inverted breakfront base, height 40.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.
A late 19th/early 20th century brass mantel clock of cricket theme, the body presented in the form of stumps with crossed bats and ball, on naturalistic base, the movement marked for British United Clock Company Ltd, Birmingham, England, with white enamelled chapter ring, gilt metal star and moon centre, height 17.5cm.Condition Report: Has been wound and appears to be in going order. Condition is very good, still of bright appearance, the cut glass face has good clean finish, under scrutiny small scratches and wear could be found.
A French silvered metal and black slate figural mantel clock, mounted with horse and rider, height 45cm.Condition Report: Tarnishing and rubbing through, the name on the face has been rubbed off, holes to the back of the bore and rider possibly missing components, the tail has a large crack in it as does its back leg, no key but pendulum is present, height 45cm, width 30cm, depth 15cm.
