London. 154', featuring black Roman Numerals and hands, in the form of spades, with a gilt floral mount, and a Joseph Wilmshurst movement, stamped '6177. Brighton', mimics the movement of a pocketwatch, H-19cm. Provenance: A Joseph Wilmshurst is recorded as working in Brighton in 1822. Barrauds opened as Barraud, Cornhill in 1796, and became Barrauds in approximately 1814, remaining that way until 1838, becoming Barrauds & Lund. Condition: It does not tick when fully wound. There is a panel missing from the bottom left.19cm tall.
