A good French bronze fountain mantel clock, brass dial with Roman numerals, engraved Chappe. A. Paris. 27cm high The fountain clock is in good condition, time piece working with key. The dial has no cover, and there is no back door plate to the rear of the clock. Fountain mechanism is working. Dial is good, some tarnishing at 9 o'clock, front pillars have some rubbing marks or tarnish to the surface. The bronzed front panel has some abraisions (from cleaning) exposing some of the brass below. Time piece stamped Chappe A Paris 447.
