A 19th century French Louis XVI style bronze and ormolu mantel clock, surmounted with figures of Apollo and Diana flanking the dial, silk suspension movement signed Nemon a Paris, width 42cm height 60cm***CONDITION REPORT***Looks to be an honest untouched condition, patination on the bronze is a dark chocolate colour with some light rubbing at the extremities, black numerals to the dial are rubbed and hands are bent out of shape, some oxidisation spotting to the gilding of the case and some rubbing around the feet, hinge to backdoor is at 7 o’clock but it does shot, movement has a plate just running over the beginning of the makers name, no pendulum or key, looks to be complete but not tested for timekeepingPLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
