Charles X ormolu mantel clock, Raingo Frères, Paris, 1830’s, the case with cast rococo scrolls, dial has enamelled numerals signed Raingo A Paris, cylinder movement striking on a bell, on a gilt wood plinth, overall 39cm.Condition report:The case is in good condition, all pieces present, one minor stress fracture noted to the left scroll, enamelled numerals have minor damage, notably '8', there is a pendulum and the movement ticks and strikes correctly but not sure about consistent running, stand has some cracks and old repairs but is stable.Additional images have been uploaded to the lot page on our website for you to view.

A 19th century French bisque porcelain Three Graces mantel clock - after the model by Étienne-Maurice Falconet, the urn case with horizontal annular dials, supported by a fluted column attended by the Graces indicating the time, the count wheel striking movement with lever escapement, all on a relief moulded rectangular plinth with gilt metal base. Note: The original model by Falconet was executed in white marble about 1770.
