A late 19th Century brass cased mantel clock with eight day movement, of architectural form with 5.5” dial with cushion set enamelled Roman numerals, with applied badge ‘Louis Levy Reims’, 61cm high, 40cm wide, together with an associated seven light candelabra, 64cm high (part garniture) with gilt and patinated / verdigris finish throughout.

An early 19th century brass inlaid mahogany lancet shaped mantel clock by G. Willson of London, pendulum and key, no winding key, 45cm. Condition - fair to good, not tested as workingCONDITION: No woodworm seen; all four feet renewed; four old cracks to the arch, clearly visible; claret lining to side interiors renewed; nut to secure pendulum whilst in transit missing; single key locks/unlocks rear door and front glass dial door; convex dial with a flake between 3 and 4 at the chapter ring; convex glass dial-door hinge re-soldered and re-attached with modern screws. Movement backplate has had two fairly modern brass braces added, needed to lock the backplate of the movement into place - these braces held by a screw visible at the outside of each side. Can’t say whether this movement is original to this case. Movement has been set going over several days and appears to be keeping good time, although not guaranteed. No winding key.
