Sewell & Cie a Paris', Japy Freres bell chiming movement with outside countwheel also stamped 'Sewel a Paris 625', pendulum stamped '628', dial 7.5cm, 27 by 15 by 35cm high.

A French gilt brass figural mantel clock, 19th century, with glass dome and ebonised oval base, the engraved 3¼" dial with black Roman numerals and minute track, applied cast flower surround and spandrels, the case with male figure holding a flower garland to one side and a tied bouquet of hand tools, spade, rake and sickle, with surmount of a basket of flowers, relief cast frieze below, raised on four spiral decorated bun feet, twin train movement with outside countwheel striking hours and half hours on a bell, stamped '805' and '1488', 27 by 10.5 by 36.5cm high, with pendulum and key, the dome and base 34 by 15 by 44cm high.
