Late 19th Century French gilt spelter mantel clock, figural surmount, circular white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, cylinder movement striking on a bell, 39cm.Condition report:The case is good although some wear to gilding associated with age, figural mount is a little loose but this may be resolved bu tightening the fixing inside the case, movement appears to be complete, has pendulum, ticks but not sure of accurate timekeeping, does not strike, dial has minor scratches and is dirty.

Circa 1880, with Sevres style porcelain panels, mounted with two cherubs, the movement by W Oppenheim, Paris, height 32.5cm.The clock appears to be overwound and does not strike at present.The rear door does not close properly, there is a hole at the front of the case, so there is presumably something missing.There are a few small chips near the winding holes.
