A 19th century French ormolu and white marble eight day mantel clock surmounted with figures of the golden apple, over the floral swagged enamelled dial, lovebirds and panels of musical amorini, on turned feet, unsigned countwheel movement, 42cm wide, 14cm deep, 44cm high, Overall in fair if slightly neglected condition, gilding to the figures is now a little matted with some oxidisation spots, dial looks good and original, hand slightly oxidised, marble case with a number of tiny nicks around the edges of the plinth, movement looks complete and comes with pendulum but not tested for timekeeping.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A 19th century French Louis XV style ormolu and white marble mantel clock with ornate foliate motif architectural case, enamelled Roman dial and eight day movement, stamped and numbered 19773, 28.5cm wide, 16.5cm deep, 47cm high Overall in very good clean condition with no real faults noted, case a little dusty at the top but otherwise in a fine state of bright gilding, dial very good, one or two tiny nicks to the corners of the moulded plinth, movement complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with original numbered pendulum and an associated winding key.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. A 19th century French ormolu and rouge marble clock garniture, the mantel clock with urn finial and floral swagged signed enamel dial, four glass case draped with ribbon, flower and fruit motifs, unsigned eight day movement numbered 361, with a pair of matching bird and floral swag mounted urns, clock 21cm wide, 14cm deep, 46cm high, urns 16cm wide, 29cm high Clock overall in good untouched condition, ormolu is in two colours and remains in bright order, tiny chipping around the winding holes, very minor fritting the corners of the marble plinth, movement looks complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with probably associated pendulum, bell to the back only just holds in place and may well be a later replacement.
