PigardThe classically inspired case surmounted by the drum with an elaborate perfume burner with swagged garlands mounted on a scroll and foliate base decorated with a Classical frieze on toupie feet, the 5.75 inch signed circular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with gilt fancy hands, the signed circular brass movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the movement stamped 'Pons Medaille D'Or.' A French Louis XVI-style gilt-bronze mantel clock, late 19th/ early 20th century, the foliate detailed case inset with painted porcelain plaques, housing a movement striking on a bell on the hour and half-hour, 42cm high Condition report: Some mounts a little loose. One bronze foliate roundel off but present. Some surface wear and scratches to plaques. Movement ticks and chimes when wound, although no guarantee of full working order. Tarnish and discolouration to bronze. Some manufacturing imperfections. Key and pendulum present, although both appear associated.
