**Regency Mahogany and Brass Inlaid Mantel Clock, circa 1820** This Regency-era mantel clock, dating around 1820, is a fine example of early 19th-century craftsmanship. Constructed from polished mahogany, the clock features a rectangular case with a distinctive domed top, adorned with intricate brass floral inlays. The white dial houses Roman numerals and black hands, framed by a brass bezel and protected by glass. Notable for its decorative carvings and elegant side handles, the clock stands on four small rounded feet, providing stability and an elevated presentation. The back of the clock reveals a brass mechanism and a keyhole for access, highlighting both functionality and design. A French 19th century ormolu and porcelain panel mantel clock, the white enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and black Arabic minutes, the case surmounted with a putti and sea serpents, numbered 1070, the unsigned movement numbered 367 and 46, no pendulum, 31 x 30cm. Movement not working, putti is missing a spear or suchlike for his right hand, missing back leg support, other wise case is good, dial with hairline crack through the 60/XIIHairline crack 3cm long to dial (12 o clock) Rear foot missingSmall holes through both hands indicate Putti was holding something? The movement is fully wound, it ticks for a few seconds then stops - in need of attention.
A large and impressive late 19th French gilt bronze mantel clock case, unsigned, no movement, the chapter ring with porcelain blue Roman numerals, entwined with snakes and salamanders, beneath is a Satyr with bat above, bird, salamander, and two rodents to the sides, beneath is Cupid with sea serpents, two the left is Cupid teasing a hounds with a bunch of grapes, to the right is another Cupid teasing a hound with a bird, beneath are move allegorical scenes, 57 x 48 x 18cm. Overall condition is good some wear to the gilt, very dusty, very high quality work, most late 19th century French clock movements should fit Cupid on the left side is missing the blade to his dagger (see picture added to main listing)There are several areas of gilt surface loss (as can be seen in the pictures)No other issues.

They created works for an array of nobility and royalty, including King George V of England and Emperor Napoleon III of France.The company exhibited its works in the 1867, 1878 and 1889 World’s Fairs in Paris, winning numerous prizes, including a gold medal in 1889.Jean-Antoine Lépine (1720 – 1814) was a French watchmaker, who provided clocks and watches to Louis XV, Louis XVI and Napoleon Bonaparte, his firm passed to the family on his passing and was then sold several times though out the 19th and early 20th centuries, the name of the firm always remained Lepine.Case in need of cleaning and gilding, the movement appears original with original pendulum, not working.

A large Louis XV inspired 19th century circa 1880s Japy Freres, Paris ormolu-mounted, brass-inlaid, tortoiseshell and boulle marquetry bracket mantel clock with ogee bracket. The clock having a gilt metal male figure sitting on globe holding a scroll and bag. Canted pediment below with scrolled ormolu embellishments to corners. Circular white & blue enamelled circular clock face with Roman numerals to chapter ring enclosed in gilt metal cartouche. All behind a glazed front flanked by a curved case with further acanthus leaves embellishments and inlays. Checked Trompe-l'œil floor to inside with matching boulle decoration to inside of back door. The front enriched by a gilt metal in relief of possibly Athena with shield and spear with two cherubs. Raised on ormolu foliate supports. The 8-day clock movement stamped Japy Freres, Paris to back with H & F, Paris above. Number 8871 to movement and back plate. The clock all raised on matching ogee clock wall bracket gilt metal ormolu embellishments to corners in the shape of female heads and scrolled acanthus leaf to bottom. With pendulum. Clock measures approx. 100cm x 48cm x 20cm, bracket measures approx. 34cm x 48cm x 26cm.

The clock face porcelain with Roman numeral dial on pink ground, with figural cherub and sea monster scene to face over seaside scene. With turquoise enamel decoration. Featuring AB & star logo attributed to Brocot. Raised on stepped pedestal base on four turned round feet. Measures approx. 40cm, 25cm wide at base.
