The dark brown patinated figure sat upon a stop fluted marble column with gilt bronze mounts leading down to a square base with breakfront corners above foliate cast feet, 13¾ ins (35 cms) in height.

The painted enamel dial set into a drum case forming the wheel of a gilded shell-form chariot with gilt spokes and a winged dragon mounting the rear. The chariot drawn by two dark patinated bronze horses with gilt tack driven by a cherub. The long rectangular Griotte d`Italie marble base embellished with gilded floral sprays. The case`s flat silhouette cut facade surmounted by a shaped pediment with architectural turrets either side, ornately decorated with intricate Persian style flowers & foliage enhanced with coloured enamels, 14 ins (26 cms) in height.

The `Sèvres` porcelain dial painted with a delightful scene depicting a seated lady with two cherubs encircled by a pink border of gilded numeral cartouches framed by a beaded edge.
