A 19th century French Louis XV gilt metal and Sèvres style porcelain mounted mantel clock, the painted floral dial with Roman numerals against a blue ground, below a portrait oval, with movement striking on a bell, on domed base, height 31cm. Additional InformationWe cannot guarantee that the clock is in full working order. No key or pendulum. The case with general age wear, tarnishing, and some green paint to the left hand side. The porcelain mounts with some rubbing to the gilding and the domed mount to the top of the base section appears to have a layer of dirt which should clean away.

A FRENCH GILT AND PATINATED MANTEL CLOCKLate 19th CenturySurmounted by an equestrian model of the Marley horse, after Coustou, enamel dial with Roman hours, the twin train movement with countwheel on strike, engraved ‘W.B Bromoli, PARIS’, 37.5cm high.Condition Report:Applied decoration to the front below the dial is slightly lower on one side. General wear marks and scratches, with patches of wear to the patina on the horse. Corrosion and wear to the two winding holes in the dial (see image). Loss of detail to the dial.

Art Deco (please note - NOT electric ) mantel clock, the rectangular dial with Arabic numerals on grey chapter ring, inset into circular rose marble disc, on polished granite plinth, 28cm Condition Reportlight surface scratches. Chip to one corner of base, small nibbles to edges. There is something missing from the front of the base of the clock. The clock does not work. The hands turn with the dial at the back. the winder does not wind, it is not electric.
