The movement housed in a cylindrical glass case with revolving enamelled rings to the top counting the hours & minutes with Cupid's arrow entwined in laurel forming the pointer. The domed gilt bronze cover surmounted by a seeding finial and adorned with foliate decoration & fleur-de-lis motifs. The case raised on a grey St Anne marble pedestal supported by two winged cherubs stood either side on a white marble base with gilt beading and scrolling embellishments, 18 ins (46 cms) high.
