Vincenti, Paris, A French 'four glass' mantel clock, the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong with a twin tube mercury compensating pendulum, the backplate stamped with the trademark of the maker Vincenti et Cie, the two-piece white enamel dial having black Roman numerals, decorative blued steel hands and the visible dead beat escapement, having a Corniche style brass 'four glass' case with glazed sides, height 30cm. *Vincenti et Cie are recorded as working at Rue d'Anjou au Marcus, Paris from 1850 as makers of roulant blancs and complete clocks.
