A 19th century French gilt metal mantel clock garniture, the striking movement numbered 129 5 8, the dial painted with a landscape and having Roman numerals, surmounted with a gilt urn set with a porcelain plaque decorated with a landscape, set with two further porcelain plaques below decorated with figures in landscape and a landscape, with gilt metal children playing pipes, with further scrolls, masks and paw feet, height 19.5ins, flanked by a pair of gilt metal urns set with porcelain panels decorated with figures in landscape and landscapes, moulded with similar pipers and paw feet, height 16ins, all on gilt wooden shaped bases
A fine early 19th Century bronze Gothic revival mantel clock With a 18cm convex silvered dial with Roman numerals, blued Gothic hands within a brass convex glazed bezel the twin chain fusee bell striking movement with anchor escapement with rise and fall to the lenticular bob pendulum, H shape brass back plate, the Gothic revival case with swan neck pediments above leaf cast cluster columns embracing leaf and flower head panels divided by fluted arches, the sides with similar fluted and foliate decoration, glazed lancet shaped rear door raised upon a rectangular plinth base and four scrolling leafy feet with a substantial pendulum, later winding key and an original side door key. A Jaeger Le Ccultre Faux Lapis mantel timepiece The upright rectangular gilt metal case with a glazed panel decorated in gilt with the hours, single train movement contained within the hinged case No: 545 raised upon compressed bun feet, 15x13x6.5cms, contained within a hinged brown case with a blue padded interior also numbered 545. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 2109 - The hinged case some rubbing and scratching to the outer rim of the hinged top, some discolouration to the centre, original blue silky lining, some traces of discolouration to the silver coloured lining, the clock, some spotting to the rectangular top, some discolouration to the right hand side and left hand side, gilding generally rubbed. Clock running, ticking but not monitored for duration.
A 19th Century French gilt spelter figural mantel timepiece With a 9cm white dial with Arabic numerals the single train movement, contained within a drum case, surmounted with a vase of blooms flanked on either side by a maiden holding a basket of grapes beside a gallant raised upon scroll feet, some damage to case with a gilt wood plinth with a velvet surface and an oval stand under a glazed dome, the clock measures 35cms highs, overall including dome 49cms high.
